Abstract

Antioxidants are compounds that help protect the body from free radicals and help slow aging. The content of isoflavones in soybean seeds is a flavonoid compound that is efficacious as an antioxidant. Peel off gel mask is useful to relax the facial muscles, wrinkles and shrink the pores of the face. This study aims to determine the effect of polyvinilalkohol (PVA) consentration on the physical stability of peel of geel mask soybean extraction. Soybean seeds extract obtained by maseration method then formulated with PVA with level 12% , 13,5% and 15%. Peel off gel mask soybeans extracts then tested physical stability include organoleptic test, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, drying time, elasticity, dispersion, adhesion, protection and the aseptability of respondents. From this research, the result of formulation 3 is the best formulation with concentration of 15% PVA based on viscosity, adhesion and dispersion.
