Abstract

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels and can be accompanied by vascular complications including diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetic foot ulcer is one of the chronic complications of Diabetes Mellitus. The incidence of diabetic foot ulcers increases the leukocytes count in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus Because leukocytes have a role in the body's defense system. Leukocyte can help diagnose organ damage and be a source of information about the process of immune disease in people with DM. The purpose of this literature study is to find out Differences in the Leukocytes count in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients with diabetic foot ulcers and without diabetic foot ulcers. Analysis of the data used in this research is a literature study method by collecting reference data in the form of a journal about The Differences of Leukocytes count in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients with diabetic foot ulcers and without diabetic foot ulcers. Data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis to get conclusions from these data The results of the study of literature studies of the difference of leukocytes count in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with diabetic foot ulcers and without diabetic foot ulcers showed that there were significant differences between leukocytes count in diabetics with diabetic ulcers and without diabetic foot ulcers with a p value <0.05. The conclusion of this literature study is that there is a difference in the result of the leukocytes count in type 2 diabetes mellitus sufferers with more increased than without diabetic foot ulcer.
