Abstract

In this area many people choose to be practical and fast to use. Also included in functional drinks. At this time many functional drinks have been developed that are not only sourced from tea leaves but can also come from other natural ingredients or which are often known as herbal tea. In the suggested research to determine the total phenolic levels of herbal steeping tea and cashew leaf decoction. This research was conducted by brewing and boiling cashew leaves weighing 5 g then tested on Uv-Vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength to 742.0nm and obtained absorbance on cashew herbal tea leaves which is 0.3923 and absorbance on the cashew leaf decoction tea namely 0.3493. Obtained average steeping levels of 1.9035% GAE. And the average stew content is 1,274% GAE Conclusion: Cashew tea steeping herbal tea has an average total phenolic content that is equal to 1.9035% GAE ± 0.0042913 with% KV of 0.2254%, and for herbal tea of cashew leaf decoction the average total phenolic content is equal to 1.2741% GAE ± 0.002612 with% KV of 0.2096%. Total phenolic levels of steeping herbal tea and cashew leaf decoction have significant differences.
