Abstract

The number of drugs used in the treatment of elderly arthritis has the potential for drug-related problems that can occur in the treatment of arthritis, so researchers want to conduct research on how the appropriateness of therapeutic management is based on governance guidelines from the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) in 2012 and see the potential for drug interactions that occur. occurred during the treatment of arthritis in the elderly in the outpatient installation of the Primary Clinic of Klaten PMI. According to the Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2018 based on the diagnosis of Doctors in Indonesia there are 7.8% and the prevalence of this joint disease is based on the diagnosis of doctors in the population aged ≥ 15 years. According to the characteristics of Central Java Province, the number of people affected by joint disease is 5.69% for men and 7.83% for women. The area of Klaten Regency which experienced joint disease reached 5.18%. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the use of Athlete's BPJS Patient Medication at PMI Klaten Primary Clinic in 2020. Descriptive research type, the population in this study was all prescriptions of BPJS participant patients diagnosed with arthritis at the PMI Klaten Primary Clinic in January 2020. The sampling technique was random sampling. , analysis of data using frequency distribution. The results showed the most widely used drug classes are analgesics from NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal AntiInflamatory Drugs) as many as 49.2%, Steroids as much as 18.7%, Multivitamin as much as 26.9% and other drugs as much as 5.2%.
