Abstract

Diarrhea is second largest cause of death in toddlers in the world after pneumonia. Death by diarrhea caused by dehydration and vomiting. This can be prevented with initial handling that is good and right. The purpose of this study was to find the knowledge mother in Kampung Tegal Kuniran, Jebres, Surakarta in swamedikasi diarrhea in child. A design research use descriptive quantitative. Research instruments used a questionnaire with four alternative answers. The subject 156 the mother with children of 0-12 years ever having diarrhea. The result of the percentage, it was great thing for value >50% and said less than good if value ≤ 50%. The knowledge was is well worth 81,16%. The result was one of knowledge mother in Kampung Tegal Kuniran, Jebres, Surakarta in swamedikasi diarrhea on child is good.
