Abstract
Toxoplasmosis is an infectious disease caused by the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. Causes of Toxoplasmosis include consuming food or drink contaminated with the Toxoplasma parasite, eating undercooked meat, and lack of hygiene. This disease can infect the unborn baby and can result in miscarriage or birth defects. This study aims to determine the percentage of the incidence of Toxoplasmosis in pregnant women in Denpasar Bali based on the results of the Serology examination of Anti-Toxoplasma IgG and IgM using the ELFA method. This research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional study, sampling using 44 correspondent pregnant women. Statistical analysis using the Univariate test. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the IgG Anti Toxoplasma serology is positive in pregnant women in Denpasar Bali by 20.5% and IgM Anti Toxoplasma positive by 4.5%.
