Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes mellitus (DM) or commonly known as diabetes is a metabolic disorder disease that occurs chronically or Chronic because the body does not have enough insulin due to disturbances in insulin secretion, insulin hormone that does not work properly or both. The High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP) examination can measure very little CRP so it is more sensitive with a measurement range of 0.1-0.2 mg/L. Useful to check for low-level inflammation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between HDL in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in terms of Hs-CRP levels. The research method is observational analysis with a cross sectional approach. The results were analyzed using the SPSSS 25.0 application for windows showing the Asymp.Sig result of 0.056 which is greater than 0.05 (>0.05), so it is stated that there is no relationship between HDL levels and High sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and the Correlation Coefficiens of -0.387 which indicates a weak relationship between hs-CRP and HDL levels.
