Abstract

Teenager age is a time when they want to find their identity and have a high curiosity. One of the things to worry about in teenageris drug abuse. Psychotropic substances or drugs, which have psychoactive properties in the central nervous system. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of amphetamine abuse in teenager aged 16-20 years in Umbulsari Hamlet, Polanharjo District using the immunoassay method. This type of research is descriptive, namely research that describes the object or subject being studied objectively. This study uses quota sampling technique, the sample used is 15 teenager urine aged 16-20 years. Sampling using urine when the urine that can be issued momentarily. Sources of data obtained are primary data reported in table form. This research was conducted in Joglo Hamlet Umbulsari, Polanharjo District. The results of the study on 15 teenager respondents aged 16-20 years did not consume amphetamine type psychotropics or the results of the examination were negative. The conclusion of this study showed that none of the 15 teenager respondents consumed amphetamine. These results provide an illustration that in Umbulsari Hamlet does not fall into the use of illegal drugs.
