Abstract

The research has been done with the title of Oral Hypoglycemic Drug Use Pattern on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patient Puskesmas Polokarto Sukoharjo District in 2017. This research is aimed to know the pattern of Oral Hypoglycemic Drug Usage at Polokarto Public Health Center. This research is descriptive by retrospective data from medical records of outpatients. Sampling technique using non probability sampling technique that meets the inclusion criteria. Data was taken in January until December 2017. The analysis of this study included age and sex category, use of OHO, and type of OHO in use. The next analysis is done analytically by calculating the percentage of categories taken. The drugs used are from biguanide and sulfonylurea. The drug of the biguanid group is 39.30%. Of the sulfonylurea group is 9.95%. The use of oral combination of hypoglycemic drugs widely used is biguanide and sulfonylurea group of 50.74%.
