Abstract
Cucumber peels is one type of plant that can be eaten by the fruit. Cucumber peels bean contains flavonoid. This study aims to determine the total content of flavonoids of cucumber peels ektract. Extraction using soxhletation method and with 70% ethanol solvent. The extract obtainedwas used for qualitative and quantitative analysis.Quersetin was chosen as a standard solution. Qualitative analysis is used to find out the truth of a compound in a sample solution Qualitative analisys using Wilstater Cyanidin method, and qualitative analisys using aqueous NaOH 10%. Quantitative analysis using Visible Spectrophotometry on a wavelength of 427,5 nm and operating time at the 14th minute with the aim is to determine the total flavonoid content in the sample. The results of qualitative test showed that the extract was positive flavonoids. The average concentrations of total flavonoids was 0,766% extract with a variation coefficient value of 0,52%.
