Abstract

The increase in COVID-19 cases in Surakarta is happening continuously every day. The Solopeduli Clinic is the first line of health facilities in Surakarta which has the potential to become a place for the spread of COVID-19. Solopeduli clinic is a place where people with symptoms or symptoms come for treatment, while it is not know whether the patient is infected with COVID-19 or not, so transmission to healthy people or other sick people is very easy. The level of patient compliance in implementing health protocols is the key to preventing the speard of COVID-19. This study aims to determine the level of patient compliance with implementing health protocols in the new normal COVID-19 at the Solopeduli Clinic. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 720 patientstaken from the average at the Solopeduli Clinic during the pandemic period in August-September 2020. The number of samples in this study were 180 patients using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet on patients who met the inclusion criteria at the Solopeduli Clinic. The results of this study showed that the level of adherence was as much as 86.7%, the level of adherence was not as much as 11.7% and the least level of adherence was 1.7% with the level of non-adherence. Compliance is classified as covering wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance and others. It was concluded in this study that most 86.7% patients at the Solopeduli Clinic had a high level of adherence to implementing health protocols in the new normal COVID-19.
