Abstract

The participation of pharmaceutical engineering personnel is important as pharmacist work partners, one of which is to provide COVID-19 treatment therapy so it is necessary to know the extent to which pharmaceutical engineering personnel know COVID-19 treatment to determine the success of therapy, one of which is in the city of Salatiga which has a high number of infected cases. This study aims to describe the level of knowledge of pharmaceutical engineering personnel about the treatment of COVID-19 in the city of Salatiga. This research method is descriptive, with simple consecutive sampling method. This research was conducted in January 2021. The study population was 132 respondents. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents of pharmaceutical engineering personnel in the city of Salatiga. The research instrument used a questionnaire with 12 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability test. Characteristics based on the place of work in the hospital were as many as 55 respondents, characteristics based on education, namely D3 Pharmacy as many as 56 respondents, characteristics based on length of work namely> 4 years as many as 63 respondents. The research results obtained from 100 respondents, there were 40 (40%) good knowledge of pharmaceutical engineering personnel
