Abstract

Storage of medical preparations affects on the effectiveness and safety rom tehft.Drug storage should be treated in a way that it does not pose hazard. Negative impacts caused by damaged drugs affects not only to patients but also on the pharmacy itself. The occurrence of damaged or expired drugs make the income grow less. This study aims to discover suitability and of the drug storage and percentage of expired drugs on Pharmacy Asri Klaten year 2019. This study is descriptive and conducted by including all the employees of Pharmacy Asri and all drugs in the number 1595. There are two results of the research. First, drug storage procedure is suitable as much as 66,67%. Second, there are 51 expired drugs (3,2%) It concludes that drug storage on Pharmacy Asri Klatenyear 2019 is not in accordance with Permenkes No. 73 Tahun 2016 Tentang Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apotek. The result reveals that percentage of drug storage that meets the requirement is 66,67%. Therefore, it is not accordance with Permenkes No.73 Tahun 2016 which is 10%.
