Abstract

Carbon monoxide (CO) gas is the result of incomplete combustion of fuels containing carbon atoms and is colorless and odorless. The process of making tiles must go through the combustion of CO gas produced by the workers who make the tiles inhaled. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of COHb in the blood of tile making in the village of Wirun Sukoharjo. This research is a descriptive study with a quota sampling sampling technique and the analysis used is a simple linear regression test. The subjects of this study were 7 respondents. Examination of COHb levels in the conway diffusion cell method uses a UV-VIS spectrophotometer. The results of the examination are compared with the standard American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygieni (ACGIH) not more than 3,5% The results showed that carboxyhemoglobin levels were between ,64% , 0,65%, 0,93%, 1,05%, 0,90%, 0,96%, 0,89%of the 7 respondents. There are 43% probandus who have a smoking habit.. The conclusion in this study is the value of carboxyhemoglobin levels in the blood of Ojek Online Drivers is still below (ACGIH)
