Abstract

Work as a truck driver can bring drivers to risks or problems that can occur at any time on the way. In addition to pressure and risk in the form of acts of extortion and thuggery, other pressure can also come from the employer or skipper of the truck driver himself. As a result of the risks and pressures that are often experienced trigger them to consume doping. Doping has both positive and negative effects. The positive effect of doping is what drives truck drivers to consume it. This class of stimulants consumed includes amphetamine. Amphetamine is one of the dangerous chemicals that can cause addiction, but amphetamine is also used for treatment. This study aims to identify amphetamine in the urine of truck drivers Pt. Turrima Agro Mas who consumes doping. This study aims to identify amphetamine in the urine of truck drivers Pt. Turrima Agro Mas who consumes doping. This research uses descriptive research with cross sectional design. This research was conducted at Pt. Turrima Agro Mas and his truck driver urine were the subjects of this study. And amphetamine as the object. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling and obtained as many as 8 samples from truck drivers who met the research criteria. The sample used in this study was urine from a truck driver who consumed doping. This study uses a test strip with the immunoassay method. The results of this study obtained negative results in all urine samples of truck drivers Pt. Turrima Agro Mas who consumes doping. In this study, the urine sample of the truck driver Pt. Turrima Agro Mas who consumed the doping tested did not contain Amphetamine in his urine.
