Abstract

Worms are one of the environmental-based diseases that are a problem for public health. Worms caused by a number of intestinal worms that are transmitted through the soil are called Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH). Another source said that a factor that can affect the incidence of worms is hand washing. Washing hands with soap is a sanitary act by cleaning hands and fingers using water and soap to be clean and break the chain of germs. The sampling location was in the village of Keposong RT 001/004 Keposong, Tamansari, Boyolali. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The data analysis technique of this research is presented analytically using the Spearman method. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that: respondents who detected a case of helminth are 3,45 %.
