Abstract
Etanol is fermentation results of sugar cane transformed into molase (gulf drops). Then the destilation process by a way heated in a specific time so it was acquired ethanol in certain measures. The ethanol manufacturing process is a high-risk activity including the workers. The warming process generates a dangerous vapor for the body, so it can cause health disorders to the workers. The disease of the liver organs is a hydrated complication caused by ethanol exposure. This research was made to know the blood ethanol levels, Gamma GT levels, and the effect of blood ethanol against Gamma GT at the workers in the ethanol industry. This research was done with sampling quota, 24 workers, at 8 traditional Etanol industry in Ngombakan village, Polokarto. The Etanol levels measurements was working on a Gass Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry method, and Gamma GT was working on a colorimetry enzimatic method. Research results indicate an average of the ethanol workers of a 0,45 mg/dL and Gamma GT 29 U/L. Linier regression analysis results have a Sig 0,257 (more than 0,05) it means there is no effect on the ethanol levels against Gamma GT. Based on the coefficient determination (r square) of a 0,058 it means a large ethanol influence on Gamma GT is 5,8%
