Abstract

Infection from soil-borne worms Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) is a worm whose life cycle requires suitable soil to multiply into an infective form. One of the jobs related to the land is cattle raiser. The purpose of this study is to find out the presence of Soil Transmitted Helminth eggs in the feces of cattle raiser in Kedawung Village Jumapolo District Karanganyar Regency. This study used a descriptive research using concentrated salt flotation methods. Research data is presented in table form and expressed in percent. The conclusion showed that there were 2 (13.3%) of the 15 respondents of cattle raiser in Pamotan Hamlet RT 12/06 Kedawung Village, Jumapolo District, Karanganyar Regency infected with Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) which was indicated by the discovery of Hook worm eggs in fecal samples.
