Abstract

Helminthiasis is a desease that can affect all ages, but more frequently occurs in elementary school children and preschool age children. Helminthiasis could result from poor environmental conditions and personal hygiene. The purpose of this study is to know if there is a Soil Transmitted Helminth eggs in the faeces of abalone student. This study uses a type descriptive research and uses quota sampling technique. To identify Soil Transmitted Helminth eggs in the faeces of abalone student using sedimentation method and 0.9% of NaCl solution . The result of a study of 14 examination of student faeces were obtained without any Soil Transmitted Helminth eggs found iin the student faeces. This is due to a number of factors, including personal hygiene.
