Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of wuluh starfruit juice (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) in reducing the concentration of heavy metal Cu. Wuluh star fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) juice is taken using a juicer. Wuluh star fruit juice obtained was tested for phytochemical content. Analysis of the reduction in Cu content was read on Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry with a wavelength of 324.8 nm. The results of the average reduction in metal content after administration of starfruit juice 20% concentration of 12.6759% KV, 30% concentration of 23.2478% KV, 40% concentration of 15.8094% KV, concentration of 60% of 9.1293 % KV, 80% concentration equal to 1.4629% KV, 100% concentration equal to 3.0991% KV. The highest concentration in this study was 30% in the amount of 23.2478% with a% KV value of 0.33103%.
