Abstract

Diarrhea is an environmental-based disease, every year there are around 1.7 billion cases of diarrhea with a mortality rate of 525,000 children under the age of 5 years. Sarana Husada, Sragen in 2019. The method used in this study was a descriptive survey by taking data, retrospectively, taking data, medical records in 2019. This study used a sample of 100 pediatric patients aged 1 month18 years. Data were analyzed using the Handbook of Children's Health Services Handbook at the Indonesian Ministry of Health Hospital, 2009. The results showed that diarrhea patients mostly occurred in boys 63 (63%), with the age group 0-5 years 93 (93%) and diagnoses without comorbidities 41 (41%) with comorbidities other than infection 59 (59%). While the assessment of the highest drug use was Ringer lactate 95 patients (16.05%), the classification of drugs was the most infusion 107 (18.07%) with 3-4 days inpatient length 67 (67%) and the combination of drugs (Infusa + Antibiotics + Probiotics + Zinc + other drugs) amounted to 21 (21%) and the highest number of combinations was 4 drug combinations 44 (44%).
