Abstract

Pneumonia is an infection that occurs in the lung parenchyma. The cause of pneumonia is bacteria, one of which is Klebsiella pnuemoniae. One of the methods used to treat pneumonia is the administration of antibiotics. But if the administration of antibiotics is done continuously and irrational it will cause the bacteria to become resistant. The purpose of this study literature is to determine how the pattern of sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae to the cephalosporin antibiotics, especially Cefotaxime, Ceftazidime and Ceftriaxone in pneumonia patients. The method that used in this study literature is descriptive data analysis. Where the data used is tertiary data taken from 3 research journals conducted in 2019-2020. The results of the study literature are the sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae to Cefotaxime 60% and 67% in 2019, increasing to 75% in 2020. The sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae to Ceftazidime is 0% and 40% in 2019 increased to 82% in 2020. The sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae to Ceftriaxone is 60% and 67% in 2019 and has decreased to 8% in 2020. Based on the 3 studies conducted, the highest sensitivity result of Klebsiella pneumoniae was against Cefotaxime antibiotics and the lowest sensitivity results for Ceftriaxone antibiotics.
