Abstract

Deformity is a disease caused by parasitic worms, one of which is caused by intestinal nematode. The lack of self-hygiene is easily infected with disfitention. The activities of children playing the ground are at risk of being infected with disfiance. This study aims to find out whether or not ascaris lumbricoides eggs are found in children in Gunung Sari Village, Salatiga and to find out the types of ascaris lumbricoides eggs found in children's feces in Gunung Sari Village, Salatiga. This research uses descriptive design. The research was conducted at the National STIKES Parasitology Laboratory of Surakarta using flotation technique and the research time was conducted in January-May 2021. This research sample is a child's faeces in Gunung Sari Salatiga Village. The method of examination of feces with flotation using NaCl. The sampling technique of this study is quota sampling. The results of this study found eggs Ascaris lumbricoides fertilization in 1 sample of feces and 19 samples of feces were not found eggs Ascaris lumbricoides, so if it is percentageed as much as 5% found eggs Ascaris lumbricoides and 95% not found eggs Ascaris lumbricoides. Ascaris lumbricoides fertil eggs were found decortation on one sample of children's stool in Gunung Sari Salatiga Village allegedly because it was always in contact with the soil.
