Abstract

Napza or drugs are substances that when entered into function will affect the body, especially the central nerve system or brain, causing physical, psychological, and social functioning disorders. This study aims to screening test for methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) type of drugs used on truck drivers for the freight expedition PT. "A" qualitatively with a simple method using a test strip. This type of research is descriptive research, namely to obtain an overview of the type of drug methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) in truck drivers in Surakarta City. The sample in this study were 11 truck drivers for the expedition of PT. "A" Surakarta was taken by using quota random sampling technique. Research on the identification of methamphetamine type of drug was conducted at the Laboratory of the UNS Hospital. There are 3 drivers who consume drugs (Tolak Angin, cough medicine (Siladex)) and Extra Joss drinks. The results of this study indicate that none of the 11 truck drivers consumed methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) drugs.
